DISTANCE LEARNING

    Hands-on Medical Massage School now offers distance learning for both the Professional Massage Therapy and the A.S. Medical Massage Therapy Courses. You can study the theory through books, assignments, quizzes, and tests that are mailed to you and partly via online.

    The distance learning course allows you to study in the comfort of your own home and at your own schedule. There are up to three hands-on intensive sessions approximately two weeks each that will need to be attended on the school campus in Redlands. Two hands-on intensives are required for the 570-hour program and three for the A.S. Degree program. The same course curriculum requirements will be followed as the on-campus 570-hour and A.S. Degree. The theory part of the instructor course is also offered via distance learning.

    Support services provided by qualified faculty. Access to a computer with internet capability and Microsoft Word software is required to successfully complete the distance learning courses.

HYBRID LEARNING

    Hybrid learning is a popular learning system combining traditional classroom learning with distance learning or home study. At HoMMS, the hybrid learning system is used mainly in the evening courses, saving the student gas and travel time. The hybrid learning system allows the students to do a portion of their courses home study and still be on a regular classroom schedule.
